5.20 attitudes Evaluation

The learner quality that was my greatest strength in this project was being an Inquirer. I was inquirer when i was intrested in learning about this topic. I showed curiosity and actually learned how important learning about breast cancer is. I showed independence by finding all research by myself. I will use the knowledge that i gained throughout my life. The learner profile that was my weakeness was being Balanced. I didnt balance my shooting time for the video with the tiem i needed to edit the video. At the time my only focus was to finish recording the video. I realized that if i would have been more balanced then completing this project would have been a whole lot easier

One problem i encountered while finishing thsi project was having enough time to complete it. I didnt have all the steps i needed to complete done.In order to over come this problem i had to take matters into my own hands. Instead of being lazy, i stayed after school one day to recieve all the help i needed. In this one day i completed my video and emailed it to mr. wang. One technology skill i learned during this project was creating a video. I learned how to cut and erase parts from videos using Windows Movie Maker. I can use this skill in other classes such as music. I can create music videos then edit it with the windows movie maker.

5.18 -Design & Plan evaluation

I changed a few things from my story board to the final video. I changed the Scene involving the doctor. I changed it because that scene would have took up too much time and made the commerical seem a little over dramatic. Just like my video i changed things on my final poster as well. I changed the background picture. My background picture was suppose to be a pink ribbon but instead its a picture of a woman holding her breast to symbolize Signs. I changed it because this background went more with the topic compared to the other picture.

5.17 -Investigation Evaluation

The aspect of my issue i chose to focus upon was the signs that people don't take into consideration. I chose this because usually when people speak about breast cancer they just talk about the awareness. I wanted to be different so i aimed my aspect towards people who are non chulant about signs of the Cancer. I thought that this aspect would get people to pay more attention to the signals their bodies give off.

I would improve my poster design by adding more creativity to it. I think my poster looks so boring. If i added more pictures and more color i think that it would be better. People would pay more attention to it because it would stand out. For example, i would change the background picture to something more recent that would make young and old people look. I would I improve my video by changing my scene arrangement. I would change the script that i used. My video wasn't as good as it could have been because it was unrehearsed and rushed. If i had more time i would've rehearsed it and it would have came out better.

5.8 design brief

I am going to design and make a PSA commercial. The problem i am addressing is the signs people ignore when they have breast cancer. if pwople didnt ignore these signs then the problem would be able to be solved earlier in its early stages. This PSA is attracting women. I want to show women that if we catch these signs early it might help in the process of getting rid of this Cancer. The PSA will be presented on a projector and i will do it using windows movie maker.

For design technology we have been assigned a PSA project. we have to randomly chose a topic and create a PSA on this topic. The PSA has to be 30 - 45 seconds and in that time we have to describe our topic. My topic is breast cancer and im going to describe how we ignore the signs of things thats important.

Honestly, this PSA doesnt affect me at all. My emotions are the same as when i watched it. Why is she complaining as if she doesn't have the opportunities.

i just feel as though people who are pregnant and middle class should have more assistance. They complain about abortions but then complain about pregnancies. If abortions are disliked assistance should be given to those that didnt recieve on.

What is one specific change that would make this PSA more effective?
The PSA should have had a person who actually experienced being pregnant with a low income so that we could feel her pain. Somebody who experienced would have played the role better and it would have been more appealing and more realistic! AMEN!!

For my final design i feel like i have met the design specifications and beyond. i like i've met the design because i extracted 4 pictures and place them on my poster. I included the information that was suppose to be on poster. I placed all the important photos on the poster. I also had different fonts and picture layouts. The font i used was Hominis for the title because it looked unique and it stood out. Then for a the information i used castellar and Gill sans MT, i wanted each of the fonts to be different so readers would pay attention. I made the font big because its a poster, small letters would not be read. My design is better than others because i did something different, instead of having a regular plain background i chose to make the countries flag a background. i feel as though my design is unique and my layout choices as well.

I am going to design and make a cereal box that will advertise the artist leonardo da'vinci. This cereal box will attract an audience's attention while showing them my well illustrated human inguenity skill. The device will be easy to carry and it will look similar to an ordinary cereal box In a supermarket. This cereal box will be used for presentation use only.being that it is made of cardboard my assumption is the cereal box will be sturdy and man made.
